Dr. Marjan Tofigh completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Microbiology at the University of Texas at Arlington. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University. While earning her doctorate, she completed multiple externships at Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, Corneal Disease and Specialty Contact Lens at Fenway Health Center in Boston, MA and Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at the Eye Institute. After graduating Optometry school, she went on to complete a Residency in Ocular Disease at the Baltimore VA Medical Center and Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins focusing on glaucoma, macular degeneration and dry eye.
Dr. Tofigh utilizes her clinical experience to provide compassionate care that is focused on improving vision and maintaining eye health. She has co-authored several publications and has given presentations on various topics in optometry. Dr. Tofigh is fluent in Farsi. When She is not helping patients, Dr. Tofigh enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, biking, and traveling.
