Kids’ Eye Exams
According to experts, 80% of learning is visual, which means that if your child is having difficulty seeing clearly, their learning can be affected. This underscores the importance of taking your children for eye exams on a regular basis. Our pediatric eye care incorporates special techniques and technology to ensure accurate testing of young children.
Infants are recommended to have a complete vision exam by six months old. As pediatric optometrists, our eye doctors have the training to perform the special developmental testing that can diagnose and treat early childhood eye diseases or developmental vision problems, such as: anisometropia, strabismus, amblyopia, and/or visual-motor delays.
Poor visual skills can affect your child’s ability to focus and read, which may hinder their school and sports performance. Vision therapy can help strengthen these visual skills so that your child can succeed.
Vision therapy has been proven to treat visual problems in children and adults, including lazy eye, binocular vision problems, and turned eyes. Vision therapy is a personalized and highly customized treatment program offered by our specially trained optometrists.
